New Hood Stripes and Slashes on the Greenwood Vette
I wanted to do a little customization to my 1990 Greenwood Corvette, so I ordered some hood stripes and fender slash graphics on ebay. They were super cheap, just vinyl graphics, but a cheap and easy way to make the car look a little more ridiculous.
While I used to have a vinyl plotter and cut all these on my own, I got rid of it and don’t have time for all that editing anymore, so this was easier to do. An old friend of mine from the WakeboardSD.net days, Kyle from KI Studios installed them for me as a favor. I probably could have done it, but I was always nervous about getting the matching angle right on symetrical stuff like this, so I was stoked that he was able to do it for me.
They turned out great, and make the car look just a little bit more awesome! Still more work to do on the thing, something is always broken, but hey that’s the fun of an old car. And now that the Mustang is running again, it’s one less project to worry about!
LOL was just looking through some old “related posts” and saw this one come up from July 31, 2008. I couldn’t believe it. Looks like I’ve been wanting a Vette for a long time. I remember looking at that one though, it was a beater!
