Google’s Christmas Gift to the Masses

This seems like a publicity stunt to me.  I’m all for Google donating copious amounts of cash to charity, but did you have to mail everyone with a Google account to let them know that?  I think if you have to fish for compliments, you didn’t really deserve them in the first place…

It links to: http://www.google.com/advertising/holiday2009/ which seems kind of weird to me that their Charity link goes to an ADVERTISING url.  Odd…  Check out the link and let me know what you think?
